This was one of my first proper attempts at vectoring, fairly recent piece that I did whilst rewatching Gundam Seed.
Taken from the scene where Kira reprograms the Strike Gundams operating system and is able to fight back decently against the Ginn Mobile Suit.
One thing I noticed upon completing it that I was'nt too fond of, the lineart seems far too thick for my liking, the background was also not exactly how I was hoping it would be.
This was my first attempt at doing a vector with a background too, I used my wacom for some of the background between editing it in Paintshop Pro here and there.
You are indeed correct, from Seed, Strike was one of my favourite gundams design wise, especially Sword Strike ... and the first few scenes we see Strike in action are among my favourite gundam memories
( Unfortunately gundam takes up atleast 95 percent of my brain and thoughts ... //_o )
Here's the kicker though, if you were to ask me to draw a pokemon or an animal or even a person, I'd find it insanely difficult.
We're all good at our own little things I guess.
I love machines, I love giant robots, I love gundam ... and I love vectoring so there's going to be plenty more of this kinda stuff from me, however I will try my luck at drawing other stuff sometimes too hehe.
really? its the opposite for me XD. thou i like gundam(not too much tho) i dont like drawing gundam. i cant even draw Ed's(in FMA) machine arm well XP. maybe that's why im not so good at drawing armors too? oh well.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
